The Standard is a dating platform that puts women in control. Instead of swiping, you create a custom application form and review submissions from people who want to date you. You set the questions, the pipeline, and decide who advances.
Who is The Standard for?
Women who are serious about intentional dating and done with low-effort matches. Profile owners create their own vetting process. Applicants — typically men — apply to pursue them seriously.
Are background checks required?
Only if the profile owner enables it. Background checks are powered by Checkr. The applicant pays $54.99 directly to Checkr. Results go to the profile owner only — applicants never see them.
How much does it cost?
Creating a profile and receiving up to 3 applications is free. Premium is $7/month or $49/year and unlocks unlimited applications, all pipeline stages, chat, video calls, and your Verified badge. Applying is always free.
Is my information safe?
Yes. Your contact information is only revealed if your application is accepted. Data is stored securely and passwords are encrypted. We do not sell your data.
Do profiles get approved before going live?
Yes — every profile is reviewed by The Standard team before appearing on the job board. Approval typically takes less than 24 hours.
